panalong araw with friends

ang isa sa mga hindi ko maintindihan ay bakit kung kailan todo-todo ang pagpaplano, hindi natutuloy ang lakad (akala niyo, kung anong malalim, no? hehe.). sa bagay, okay lang din. mas nagiging amazing yung mga lakad o gimik na biglaaan, pero natutuloy. katulad kanina. :)

lunch time. hindi ako naka-order, kaya pumunta ako sa ministop. nakapila pa lang ako nung nakita ako ni sarah at benj. kakain pala sila sa unit nina benj sa 17th floor ng building namin. nauna na si benj sa taas, kami naman ni sarah, bumili muna ng dalawang lata ng meat loaf. magluluto pala kami. may vienna sausage pa raw si benj. ayos!

pagdating namin sa taas, iniinit na ni benj yung kanin at nakapagsalang na rin siya ng mantika. niyaya rin nila si connie, pero hindi siya nagre-reply.

sobrang nakakatuwa kasi ang tagal ko na silang hindi nakakasama. to think na nung management trainees pa kami, halos araw-araw kaming sabay kumakain. sa bagay, that was almost two years ago. patapos na nga yung bond namin sa february 6, e.

ayun, siyempre, usap-usap. nakaka-miss yung ganoon, sobra. sayang lang kasi kailangan ko nang mauna pabalik ng office. anyway, pwede pa namang ulitin hanggang wala pang umuupa sa unit nina benj. :)

after work naman, dinaanan ko si nel sa HR. biglaan ulit, nagkayayaan. si nel na dapat 7 pa uuwi, nagligpit before 6. sumama rin si kacey at si elcie (na napadaan lang sa HR). ayun, get-together ulit! libre ko nga lang. buti na lang, minsan lang. :)

we ended up eating at mang inasal. siyempre, chika galore ulit. naputol lang after umalis ni kacey with cliff, her boyfriend. pero tuloy pa rin kami sa starbucks, kung saan si nel lang ang bumili ng kape. hehe.

ayun, bago namin namalayan, past 9 na pala. oras na para umuwi. kami ni nel, may round three pa ng chismis sa FX.

kaya gabi na ako umuwi, kahit na maaga ako dapat bukas. kaya inaantok na ako. kaya malapit nang iluwa ng mata ko ang contact lens niya. pero okay lang. okay lang talaga. :)

my first live PBA game :)

i watched a PBA game live for the first time last january 18, wednesday. i was with some of my co-MT's - crystal, kris, sarah & jamie. we took a cab to cuneta astrodome right after our 7 habits for highly effective people seminar. i was lucky that i didn't even have to pay for tickets - jamie's dad works there as a financial something something, so they get tickets for free. coolness! :)

we made it just in time for the second game - air21 vs. talk n text. we were rooting for talk n text because it's sarah's favorite team, but they lost.

pero grabe! i couldn't believe how hyped up some of the audience can be. other than those who were clapping and cheering, there was an intermittent release of expletives from some people on our side of the court. i felt like saying, "hey, this is just a game."

but other than that, it was fun to watch a game again, after 10 million years of shying away from watching it on the idiot box. good thing, tala was right beside me. i was able to ask about things that i've forgotten - 3-second violations, penalty, technical foul, etc. after all, my last time to watch was way back in grade 6. it was that long ago.

maybe next time, we could watch a game in araneta. jamie - hint, hint! ;)

but our final revalida's just a month away. in a month, the 15 of us will graduate from being MT's & will be assigned to different departments. ika nga ni robbie, baka after grad, sa picture na lang na to kami magkakasama-sama. horribly cheesy, nevertheless likely.

that's why i'm posting this pic - to have something to remember our fun times by.

long weekend, etc.

thank God! i finally have time to organize my files, my bed, my bag, basically my whole life.

at the moment, one of the things i dislike about working is that it takes up so much time, to the point that you barely have time to chill and just "be". i haven't actually written anything worthwhile in a long time. i haven't watched a movie recently, nor have i read a good book until friday (og mandino's "the spellbinder's gift").

on the upside, i'm learning a lot of things, and i feel that even in little ways, i was able to help out in the departments that i've been to. more importantly, i love my co-trainees. most of the time, we all seem to be on the same wavelength. we get along well, and we have fun together. we are able to talk about our concerns, and help each other out.

we are almost 5 months into our training. we've spent 4 weeks at the branches, and one week each at the different account origination units. currently, we are having our OJT at the different credit and credit administration units. at this point, i feel that i would eventually want to be assigned to HR, corporate affairs, or project management. we have yet to be rotated to the support groups though, so these preferences are still open to change. i only hope that come february, there will be vacancies in the departments that i'm interested in.

tsk, tsk. a day has passed. 1 vacation day less. i haven't accomplished anything (didn't really intend to, after all). i sure hope this lazy streak doesn't extend to the next four days...
